LONG ON CURIOSITY,
CREATIVITY & INGENUITY.
We would drive the back roads and small towns of north Florida and southern Georgia. If we found an old abandoned farmhouse, shed, whatever, we would find the owners or people who had direct connections to the place or property. While we certainly were interested is seeing what was inside, it got really interesting when the people had a personal investment to what we found. And then, the stories would begin and memories were shared. This is the when our appreciation of threading the past with the present took hold.
My Dad was a direct influence on my love for woodworking. In my world, he was a craftsman with a simple innate ability. He worked with some pretty simple tools yet produced things unique, functional and with a story.
And then there’s the brush…
